Hawaiian-Style Stick Ki'i

Hey All,

I made a Hawiian Ki'i stick carving last night and today. This style of carving was used as an easily transported Ki'i that the users were able to push into the ground or sand nearly anywhere they pleased. It was carved with mallet and hand chisels from mahogany and was finished with rejuvenating oil. He will get several more coats of oil and a custom display stand over the next few weeks.

Greg that looks terrific! Again, I love the "geometricness" of this guy. Is that a word? Either way, do you know what I mean? Keep 'em comming!
